New Flyin' Miata throttle body adapter kit for 1.8 liter engine conversion for Early NA Mazda Miata. This aluminum adapter is fabricated to attach the 1990-1993 throttle body to a 1994-2005 1.8 liter engine intake manifold. Two holes must be drilled and tapped in the front of the 1994-2005 intake manifold in order for this adapter to bolt to it. The throttle body will sit about 11/16" or 17mm closer to the front of the engine bay due to the adapter plate so the intake piping must also be modified. The 1.6L automatic transmission throttle body will not fit a 1999-2005 engine due to the clearance with the valve cover. Fits 1990-1993.
