New factory Mazda OEM metal engine upper timing cover backing plate for NA and NB Mazda Miata. This is the metal shield cover that mounts to the front of the cylinder head behind the timing gears. Part numbers B61P-10-540C (90-00 and 04-05 Mazdaspeed) and BP6D-10-540 (01-05). Hardware and lower gasket are not included. Fits 1990-2005. Choose between 90-00 and 04-05 Mazdaspeed backing plate or 01-05 backing plate.
