Engine Coolant Reroute Kit Flyin' Miata New 1990-2005 NA and NB Mazda Miata

New Flyin' Miata engine coolant reroute for NA and NB Mazda Miata. Flyin' Miata regards this kit as the best coolant reroute kit on the market. The flow area of this reroute kit is an increase of 8% over stock. The Flyin' Miata kit puts the thermostat right into the cylinder head so it can react quickly to the coolant temperature. This kit is compatible with EGR pipes and is fully electrically conductive so the temperature sensors read properly. The thermostat included with the kit is a 195 Degree F unit. When including the turbocharger connection, the coolant coming from the turbo is plumbed back into the coolant heading into the radiator so that it is then cooled before heading back to the engine. This kit is built in the U.S. and includes everything for installation. This kit includes hoses/lines, customer thermostat gasket, fittings, block off plates for the thermostat or thermostat neck on the cylinder head, and also plugs for unused fittings. Fits 1990-1997 or 1999-2005.

Choose year based on the intake manifold you are using since the hose bracket differs. Then choose the type of radiator as the stock-style or upright has the inlet on the top toward the middle of the radiator which then includes a hose adapter. The crossflow radiator will not include the hose adapter as it is not needed. The 1994 and 2001-2005 Miatas will need the upright radiator hose adapter kit regardless due to the throttle body bracket on 1994 and air conditioning lines on 2001-2005 which get in the way. Lastly choose if you would want the kit to be with or without the turbocharger connection. The turbocharger connection includes multi-layer silicone lines with heat shielding along with anchors and all fittings. This connection kit is designed and works best for the Garrett Turbochargers found in the Flyin' Miata Turbocharger Kits as well as Mazdaspeed Miata IHI Turbochargers.

Note: This kit is safe to use with 2001-2005 factory cylinder head gaskets which have improved passing sizing to manage coolant flow in the factory form. Using the earlier 1994-2000 head gasket is not required but would allow better flow with the reroute kit.
