New aftermarket Flyin' Miata FOX Stage 2 Suspension Kit for NA Mazda Miata. This kit includes four shocks, bumpstops, front and rear springs, new front and rear mounts, front and rear sway bars. The coilover springs and shocks in the kit are developed for Flyin' Miata by FOX. The coilovers are designed with an emphasis on stability in corners, turn-in, and body control with a very high level of grip. The coilovers are adjustable from a street setup to a hyper-aware track setup quickly and easily. The coilover springs sit on a high density plastic ring which acts as a bearing and allows the spring to rotate without the expense of a Torrington bearing. Internal washers are disc ground for high accuracy which gives more consistent behavior of the shock. The body of the monotube shock is given a Kashima coat which is a superior version of hard anodizing to protect the shock. The shock also has a 5" shaft travel which contributes to the track performance without sacrificing the ride on a street. The coilover lower bearings have a Teflon liner so there is no need to grease them. The spring set is 550 lb/in front and 375 lb/in rear. In order to avoid the springs going loose at full droop, the kit includes helper springs which keep the springs seated when the suspension is fully extended.
The front and rear sway bars included in the kit will help the car corner flatter and allow for easy adjustability of the oversteer/understeer balance. The geometry of the 1990-1993 front sway bar is different than the 1994-1997 so the diameter is made different. The 1990-1993 front sway bar measures 7/8", the front 1994-1997 sway bar measures 1", and the 1990-1997 rear sway bar measures 5/8". These sway bars allow for six total stiffness settings. 1 year limited warranty against defects in materials and/or workmanship. Fits 1990-1997. Choose year.
